Investing in high-quality images can be one of the biggest game-changers for your business. Elevating your photos increases the customer’s trust in your brand and dramatically expedites their decision to buy.

Pricing

$ 80 styling fee + $5 per image

The styling fee goes towards the entire planning process, from researching similar brands, shopping for props, organizing your shot list, and most importantly styling and putting together each shot.

Because the needs of each company are different, it wouldn’t be fair to charge a flat or hourly fee. This is why the industry standard is to charge per image. You will be able to download the agreed-upon number of images, as well as purchase any additional images that were taken.

Additional fees apply if models or on-sight session is required

“Your brand is in the hands of others. You can’t dictate what people think, say, or feel about you, but you can make damn sure you influence it.”

Resources

Need some help preparing for your session? Here are some questions to ask yourself before your session that will benefit your brand and make sure you are 100% satisfied with your images.

*First & foremost, what is your brand identity & who is your target client? It’s important to take the time to outline what your goals are for your brand and your business in general, as well as for the photoshoot that you’re preparing for. Make a list of at least [5] adjectives that describe your brand & how you want others to feel when they experience your brand imagery. This will make the process of creating a ‘visual identity’ for your brand run seamlessly.

Products

What type of images will best suit you and your business’s unique needs?

Flatlay: typically shot from above, usually has some additional styling elements added to the image.

Stacks/Stacklays: usually a stack of items, with the featured product typically on top or otherwise predominantly featured and is the obvious focal point.

White background: can be a Flatlay, but is not always a Flatlay, and not all Flatlays are white. “Isolated” images can be flat or upright, with or without additional styling elements.

Lifestyle: this one can be confusing. It typically shows the product staged in a realistic setting. This can be WITH or WITHOUT a model.

Modeled: Can mean posed, unposed/candid, full body, or even just a hand or body part. Can also mean pets!

Branding & Content

Sure, you want an updated ‘headshot’, but what else is it that you truly need? Being confident in your ‘brand voice’, setting a visual identity [this includes your brand’s key color palette], and creating a list of qualities & values that you want to make sure to get across to your ideal clientele – these are great places to start, especially if you’re unsure of exactly what you’re looking for in a brand photography session. This is your chance to get more than just a headshot…so take advantage of it.

Pinterest!

My FAVORITE resource for my clients to use while setting up a session, whether it is a portrait or product session, is Pinterest!

If you use Pinterest: look for colors, textures, vibes, & feels, instead of specific poses, as every person, brand, & shoot is different. By having a general description & overall ‘vibe’, we can work together to capture the essence of your brand, not just a replica of someone else’s.
